Heavy Music That Uplifts The Soul

Have you heard about these music tracks? "Southtown", "Rock the Party (Off the Hook)", "School of Hard Knocks", "Alive", "Youth of the Nation", "Boom", and more. Well, they were some of the Hits of the christian rock band P.O.D which stands for Payable on Death. What I like about this band is that there songs has a positive message and no explicit contents unlike other hardcore bands like Korn, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, and a few.

If you listen to their song called "Alive", you'll find it heavy if you're not used to hear this kind of music but the positive message are there---of being alive with GOD is worth living for. "Everyday is a new day, I'm thankful for every breath I take. I won't take it for granted, even though it might cause me everything". These were just some of the lyrics on the song.

Influenced by my cousin on listening hardcore music, I'm now riding and enjoying to listen with this kind of genre that I used to dislike before because its very noisy and has a kinda like demonic sound. When I've heard about this christian rock band, I am more interested listening to hardcore music than ever before. I listened to P.O.D's songs almost everyday on my workplace cause my soul seems like hunger for it.
